Why Regional Support Is Needed Now

Detection Is Improving. Public Communication Must Keep Pace.

Lulu’s Law and expanding drone-monitoring programs demonstrate the growing need for faster marine-hazard detection and communication. Beach Buddy helps connect verified hazard information with the public through app alerts, mapped incident reports, and available environmental conditions recorded with reports.

Detect

Drones, lifeguards, public-safety personnel, and coastal agencies can identify and verify marine hazards.

Report

Authorized personnel can generally submit a verified report through Beach Buddy in less than 30 seconds.

Inform

Beach Buddy creates the app alert, maps the incident, preserves the report, and records available environmental conditions.
