Yes! Beach Buddy is completely free to download and use with all essential features. We also offer a Pro plan with additional features including unlimited personalized marine alerts, global shark map, regional shark map with zoom unlocked, live location monitoring, pro-level trivia access, and unlimited favorite locations.
How accurate are the weather and hazard warnings?
We provide highly accurate real-time data. Our updates happen on every app load and are accurate within minutes, ensuring you always have the most current information about conditions at your beach.
What beaches does Beach Buddy cover?
Beach Buddy currently covers over 10,000 beaches across North America, Europe, Australia, and parts of Asia and South America. We’re constantly adding new beaches based on user requests. If your favorite beach isn’t listed, let us know and we’ll add it!
Can I use Beach Buddy offline?
Yes! You can save favorite beaches while online and access them later without internet. Recently viewed beach details (weather, hazards, alerts) remain available offline for a short time. If you’ve viewed the map for a location before losing connection, that cached map area will show offline too.
What is the trivia game about?
