Advertising Terms & Conditions

1. Advertising Placements

Beach Buddy currently offers three standard advertising placement levels: Featured Listing, Premier Top Placement, and Category Spotlight.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, one advertising purchase covers one selected city and one eligible category.

A business may purchase advertising in more than one category when its business legitimately fits those categories.

2. Placement Availability & Rotation

Advertising inventory is limited and placements may rotate among advertisers within the same city and category.

• Featured Listing: up to 5 rotating advertisers per city/category.
• Premier Top Placement: up to 3 rotating advertisers per city/category.
• Category Spotlight: up to 2 rotating advertisers per city/category.

Standard advertising purchases do not provide category exclusivity. Beach Buddy may limit purchases when necessary to prevent one advertiser from controlling all available placements within a city/category.

3. Campaign Start Dates

Advertisers may request a preferred start date. Requested dates are not guaranteed until Beach Buddy confirms placement availability and receives all required advertising materials.

Advertisers should submit required materials within 3 calendar days of purchase. Beach Buddy generally reviews complete submissions within 1 business day.

Standard placements are generally prepared within 1–2 business days after complete materials are received. Custom creative projects may take longer depending on the materials provided, requested revisions, and how quickly the advertiser responds and approves the creative.

Beach Buddy may hold a requested placement for up to 7 days while awaiting required materials or approval. After that time, the campaign start date may need to be moved to the next available opening.

4. Monthly Advertising

Monthly advertising placements automatically renew each month using the payment method associated with the subscription until canceled.

Monthly subscriptions may be canceled at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals and does not automatically refund advertising time that has already begun or been provided.

5. Annual Advertising

Annual placements are prepaid for 12 months and include pricing equivalent to one month free compared with purchasing the same placement monthly.

Annual advertising does not automatically renew. Beach Buddy may contact the advertiser before the campaign ends to offer renewal.

6. Cancellations, Refunds & Annual Downgrades

A placement may be canceled before it goes live and may qualify for a placement refund, subject to any creative or setup work that has already been completed.

Any creative, design, production, or other custom work already performed by Beach Buddy is non-refundable.

An annual placement may be reduced to a one-month placement before launch or during the first campaign month. The applicable one-month placement charge, completed creative work, and other non-refundable services will be deducted before any remaining balance is refunded.

Once an advertising campaign is live, placement charges are generally non-refundable except where Beach Buddy fails to provide the purchased service, subject to applicable law.

7. Creative Approval & Revisions

Advertising creative will be submitted to the advertiser for approval when applicable. Each placement includes up to two revision rounds before final approval.

Once the advertiser approves the final creative, additional advertiser-requested changes are billed as follows:

• Featured Listing: $25 per change.
• Premier Top Placement: $50 per change.
• Category Spotlight: $100 per change.

Corrections required because of a Beach Buddy error will be made at no charge.

8. Beach Buddy Creative Services

Premier Top Placement and Category Spotlight advertisers may purchase an optional Beach Buddy creative service.

The service includes preparation of one advertising creative using the advertiser's supplied assets, campaign information, promotional details, and branding guidance, along with two revision rounds before final approval.

Advertisers must provide logos, photographs, graphics, and other assets in suitable file formats and resolution. Additional information, emails, or phone discussions may be required to complete custom creative work.

Creative-service fees become non-refundable once work has begun.

9. Advertiser-Supplied Materials

The advertiser represents that it owns or has permission to use all logos, trademarks, photographs, graphics, copy, offers, and other materials submitted to Beach Buddy.

Advertisers are responsible for the accuracy of submitted business information, pricing, offers, claims, links, and promotional details.

10. Beach Buddy Approval

Beach Buddy reserves final approval over all advertising displayed within its platforms.

Advertising must be lawful, accurate, appropriate for the Beach Buddy audience, relevant to the selected category, and consistent with Beach Buddy advertising standards.

Beach Buddy may request corrections or decline advertising that does not meet these requirements.

11. Performance Reporting

Eligible advertising placements include campaign performance reporting, including available metrics such as impressions, advertising clicks, and click-through rate.

Reporting is provided for informational purposes. Measurement systems may be affected by technical conditions, user devices, connectivity, privacy controls, or other factors outside Beach Buddy's control.

12. No Guaranteed Results

Beach Buddy sells advertising placement and visibility. Beach Buddy does not guarantee a specific number of impressions, clicks, bookings, sales, leads, customers, revenue, or other business results.

13. Unavailable Requested Placement

If the requested city, category, or campaign period is unavailable, Beach Buddy will work with the advertiser to offer an alternative available date, eligible city/category, or a refund of the unavailable placement.

Beach Buddy will not move an advertiser to a materially different placement without the advertiser's agreement.

14. Changes to These Terms

Beach Buddy may update these advertising terms as the advertising platform, products, and services evolve. The terms applicable to a purchase are the terms in effect when that purchase is made, unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing.

15. Applicable Consumer & Legal Rights

Nothing in these terms is intended to waive or limit rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
